Then suddenly [Sokka] straightened, smiling. “But I have an idea!” He stood up, “Dad’s going to take me ice fishing tomorrow. He promised a few weeks ago, remember? Why don’t you come along with us? I can lend you some fish or something when we catch them, and he’ll see that you’re such a great hunter that he’s bound to let you stay.”
“Do you really think it will work?”
“’Course. My plans always work. You can ask Katara.”
Zuko turned to Katara. She was bit her lower lip and nodded. “Yeah. Sometimes they do.” she admitted. But her eyes were shining with hope.

a whole year has passed since *AvocadoLove published the first chapter of her story "Another Brother"

Sorry if it's sloppy... I felt I had to honour this day. Also, she updated her story, and this is a ’thank you, thank you for not leaving me in the dark anymore, the nerves were killing me and I have no more fingernails left’ present! ;P


(if you wonder about the tittle it's because I keep thinking: what if, from now on, I upload a deviation for every new chapter... that gotta be an excellent motivational tool, right?)

so cute! i haven't read this wonderful fic (which i will be shortly!) but i always wondered if zuko could be good and just make friends =P

sokka's saying 'come hug me!' and zuko's like 'omg really?' it's so cute :nod:

yeah, it's a great fic, wo watch it!
this part is described in chapter 3, so it'll be easy to find it!
also... if you haven't read it, I can tell you it's incredibly easy to read the first 6 chapters and now be aware of the passing of time! ;)

What a nice surprise. This is just adorable! Where do I begin?!

I love Sokka's expression. It reminds me of the show so much just when he gets a brilliant idea, which of course he is. And Zuko looking at him like, "Help me, please!" I also notice Katara's doll, and aww... what a great detail!

It's not sloppy at all. Thank you so much for drawing it. It's wonderful! *Beams*

Oh I forgot to add. Of course I would be thrilled if you did more drawings at all, much less one a chapter. But that may be a little unfair to you... this wait between chapters was usually long. Usually I update every 2-3 weeks or so. ;D I'm not usually a slacker. Promise.
